Words of wisdom

Which reminds me to pass on the excellent advice given to me recently by a general physician:
"Never go drinking with a painter.  The solvents in their paint induce their liver enzymes so they'll still be going strong when you're flat on your back and half unconscious."

That's odd - I recently had advice (from a very physical General) to the effect that you should never go painting with a drinker. Apparently they spill drinks in your solvents and spoil the look of your art entirely.

I'm not sure what the General's view on watercolours pieces though.
