I was reading something
on the internet when I
realized that I had mistaken
it for poetry
when it was really
just prose
with very short line lengths.

PTR,
What's the title? It's like trying to read Greek - it's very unorthodox.
Aha! Someone finally asked. (Gleefully rubs hands together!)
It's a Greek word, "poiesis", meaning "making" or "creating", which is the root word of words such as "poetry" and "erythropoiesis" (red blood cell production).
Sorry - just me being a wikipedia nong.
I recognised the pie bit at the front.
