Incommunicado

Well how about that? I guess they weren't bluffing after all.

It turns out that if you don't pay your telephone bill, and don't pay the reminder bill, and then don't pay the overdue notice, and then don't pay the termination notice, the phone company will disconnect your phone.

"Valued customer" my arse!

Surely you were brought up in the type of comfortable middle-class family to whom the possibility of not paying a bill on time was anathema?

Oh how far has thine virtuous self been coroded by a lack of regular attendance at June Daly-Watkin's school of deportment & manners for young gentlemen.

Gasp! What an outrageous assumption! I'm a battler, from the wrong side of the tracks in Struggletown. In the house I was brought up in we dreamed of getting phone bills. We had to send messages to our loved one by tapping out Morse code on the sewerage pipes with our tin spoons. In fact, that's how I still write this blog.
